The GK Academy MENTORS students, which is a step beyond TUTORING students.

What is special about the GK Academy is that we are extremely effective at raising ACT scores of students while simultaneously preparing the students to think like college students and greatly improve their overall study strategy skills.  This is very difficult to do.  We believe that it is important to be very straight-forward about test prep results.  Providing statistics on “average improvements” is very difficult in this industry.  This is because there are many types of students.   Some students show up for tutoring sessions and study hard.  Some students don’t show up for sessions and don’t study at all. At the GK Academy, we have seen students improve as much as 11 points (total) on the official ACT (with regular time limits).  This student took the test several times.  Such an improvement is incredible.  We see excellent improvements of 7 points (total) on a regular basis.  Again, these students do ALL of the homework we assign without burning out.  We believe that a typical student who works very hard for 4 months can definitely improve by 6 points with true dedication.  These are results that rival the best ACT test prep companies in the world.
